How To Cleaning the Laser Printer

Cleaning the laser printer can solve minor problems that often arise when printing a document, can maintain print quality, printer and extend life. So clean up your printer on a regular basis every time you change the toner or when print quality has begun to decline. Here are the steps to clean a laser printer is right.

Tools and materials needed:
  1. Special cleaning fluid for plastic products.
  2. Water.
  3. Cleaning cloth.
  4. Paper.
  5. Soft toothbrush.

Cleaning Process

Outer Printer Cleaning

  1. Prepare the materials needed to perform the cleaning. (A little water can also help in some cases).
  2. See instructions (printer manual). If the manufacturing company providing cleaning instructions follow the instructions contained therein.
  3. Before you start cleaning off the printer first and pull the electrical connection from the terminal.
  4. Dampen a cloth with cleaning fluid cleaning or making sure enough water is not too wet
  5. Wipe the outside of the printer, make sure no water or cleaning fluids entering into the inside of the printer.
Cleaning the Inner Printer
  1. Disconnect the electrical connection printer.
  2. Remove the paper from the printer tray.
  3. Remove the printer toner Lay on paper.
  4. Clean the inside of the toner with a dry cloth and gently brush with a soft toothbrush.
  5. Clean the parts in the printer carefully. Do not tear the sensitive printers.
  6. Clean the dust remaining inner the printer.
  7. Clean the roller but do not touch the sponge roller.
  8. Enter the toner back if I still want a new toner is used or if the old has gone.
Cleaning With Software
  1. Open the printer software from the shortcut utility program or open a document select Print from the File menu.
  2. From the printer software for the Options, Troubleshooting, Toolbox, Printer Utilities, or that if has the same meaning.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
